Jamhal Johnson, Owner of Moor's Beer
Jamhal is a graduate of the G2M (Go to Market) program. He is the owner of Moor’s Beer and his product is in over 275 locations throughout Chicago. Moor’s Beer pays homage to the rich untold history of African ancestry and the “Original Craftsmen” that made it happen. Here’s what he had to say about his experience in the program:

THEO’s Plant-Based has officially launched BEET Jerky on the shelves of select Whole Foods Market locations in the month February. After having been selected by Whole Foods Market to participate in their coveted accelerator program as the only Midwestern brand within its cohort (publicly announced by Whole Foods in Summer 2022), the brand is now available at 28 Whole Foods Market locations throughout Illinois this week and will expand to 70 total stores throughout the Midwest by May 2023. Genesis Bencivenga, Co-Founder/CEO of Lorenzo’s Frozen Pudding
Genesis is a graduate of Good Food Accelerator’s G2M (Go to Market) program. Lorenzo’s Frozen Pudding creates a gourmet, locally-sourced frozen pudding with various flavors, including but not limited to the Original Southern-Style Banana Pudding, Hawaiian Pineapple Pudding, and a Strawberry Pudding named Schnooka’s Strawberry Pudding. There are currently 13 flavors available. Here’s what she had to say about her experience in the program:

Jean Tsai, Founder of Pop Karma
In 2013, Jean opened Pop Karma in New York City, serving organic popcorn with balanced seasonings to the community. In 2018, Jean closed the popcorn shop to build a wholesale business in Chicago and began expanding into new markets by 2021.
Jean is a recent graduate of our 2022 A4G (Accelerate for Growth) cohort program. Today, her popcorn can be found in specialty markets all around Chicago and online.

Abbey Cannon, Co-Owner of That Rub LLC
Abbey is the co-founder of That Rub LLC, alongside her husband Tony Cannon. Together, they've created 7 seasoning blends, each with different flavor palettes. All of their products are gluten-free, vegan, and have no added preservatives.
That Rub LLC is proudly black and woman-owned, and are commitment to their customers and community, while embracing a circular economy based on transparency.
